Welp, the tomatoes are now taller than I am. Three of the parts are, at least, the little Roma tomatoes are huddled in the middle like they’re not sure they belong there. I went out to train the weeks growth up the sides of the cages and the Curmudgeonly Lion took a photo of me that only shows the topmost part of my hat through the jungle like foliage.

The plants are starting to fruit now. I filled up two point containers of grape tomatoes- one golden and one red. It’s the start of the nightshade tide. I can already see that we’re going to have more than I’ll know what to do with, but I’ll deal with that problem when we get to it.

It was an otherwise uneventful day: I made it down to the bottom of bill mountain and got the old paperwork filed away. Went for a pleasant but uneventful run. Had writer’s group. Generally puttered around the house. So that’s all the news that’s fit to print for today. New adventures tomorrow.
