I’m sitting in the airport waiting for my flight back to Los Angeles. We’ve been in Chicago for a little over a week. We’ve had some snow and freezing temperatures, some Krakus ham and Portillos and Potbellies sandwiches. And family. And family. And family. And friends.

I’m so ready to go home.

I’m ready to eat normal food and plug in to my normal music and to sleep in my own bed. At the moment I’m feeling a little down- not about anything in particular, just the let down from a breathless week of celebrating. I’m trying to keep my dull mood to myself until I can get home.

Sorry to not have been better about writing- it has just been one more thing than I could manage of late.
