So Close…

Mood.

Okay, day two! Just barely getting around to it, but here I am writing a post right at the end of the day for the sake of saying I tried.

I’m juggling two other writing projects in various stages of completion at the moment (not counting my day job, which is also writing related). One was finishing up a polish on a feature screenplay that I was working on with two other writing collaborators and which included quite a detailed notes session right at the end of the day. The other is a re-write which I’m supposed to be sending to my beta readers tonight and which is about thirty-five pages away from being done… I may have to concede defeat on this one.

I did such a good job of staying on task today too: I was very diligent about managing my time and I only got into the weeds once or twice with procrastination, but I still didn’t manage to get it all done. Sigh. Some days do be like that.

  1. Your mood is that of a rusted car that crashed into a mossy building? 😛

Why does that look like the car Daniel Craig left with the wounded body of a mole in the trunk…if I remember that correctly.

Some days do be like that? Is that in your script re-write? 🙂

    • It’s more like I feel like a vehicle that ought to have taken me a lot farther but instead got halfway bogged down by nature and entropy

      • So, you’re a dog in a car with the window down, swept away in a breeze and the horizon view. It made you thirsty, because the draft sucked the moisture off your flapping tongue.

        [Define entropy for me.]
